Promise, I read the changelog, I know you don't want to do any more updates to 
baselayout for a while. This is more of an enhancement suggestion than anything 
else. Would it be possible to do a mount check within the baselayout ebuild and 
check to see if things like the cdrom are mounted, and if so either ewarn or 
unmount them (probably the former)? I had a fresh 1.2 system this weekend that 
bombed on the baselayout update because I had a cd mounted - but it didn't bomb 
until it went to write the image out of the sandbox and discovered that it 
couldn't write to /mnt/cdrom.

If this is silly/spurious, let me know know and close this out. Thanks!

Np, but I was actually referring to the lot of changes due to copyright changes,
etc :)  This one
I am not sure on.  I dont mind doing it, but it seems the Portage guys think its
something portage
should handle.
