opensync is the successor to multisync, and still under development. The main package is libopensync, current version 0.17. (see opensync.org) to use opensync, you need plugins. currently the following plugins are available: * File-Sync Plugin * Evolution 2 Plugin * KdePim Plugin * Python Plugin * Syncml Plugin (not yet released) opensync without plugins is pretty useless, so ebuilds for the various plugins are needed. this ebuild would fit into app-pda.

Why aren't this ebuilds in portage right now? Any problems with those? More testing needed?
There is a syncml plugin available now... do you plan to make an ebuild for it ?
(In reply to comment #11) > There is a syncml plugin available now... do you plan to make an ebuild for it > ? there is still no SyncML release. All code is still in svn. If armin wants to release a version of it and place it on sourceforge for download, i'll be happy to provide you an ebuild :) cazze
