I went to emerge lgeneral-1.2_beta2 and I get the following error a few seconds
into the compile:

LibGG: unable to open lib: /usr/lib/ggi/display/fbdev.so: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
ACCESS DENIED  open_wr:   /dev/svga
svgalib: Cannot open /dev/svga
Is svgalib_helper module loaded?
