I think ng-spice-rework can have some USE flags, like X or something, for compiling with --enable-xspice or something for enabling graphical output, and not only terminal. Thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
While this is a great idea, we are currently spending most of our time fixing bugs or updating popular packages. If you could provide an ebuild yourself, it would certainly speed things up... Regards,
I believe ngspice autodetects X. Plus xspice in ngspice is a quite unstable and not really tested yet feature. If you really want to activate xspice you can always do so using EXTRA_ECONF, but you're on your own. Actually I have submitted an ebuild for ng-spice-rework-17 that makes use of the readline and debug USE flags. See bug #106496.
Please look at #106496, if you have any further USE flags to add please submit a patched ebuild. Thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 106496 ***
