I didn't have arts all the time. Now I emerged it for some specific package, to try out. After that I didn't want arts and unmerged it. The next boot kdm didn't start, because the kde binary path wasn't in my PATH string. After a while I recognized, unmerging arts deleted the important /etc/env.d/46kdepaths-3.4 This shouldn't have been happened.. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. You should have the packages needed for a standard kde environment 2. emerge arts 3. unmerge arts 4. the kde binary path won't be in your PATH string anymore Expected Results: unmerging arts should not delete /etc/env.d/46kdepaths-3.4
