Description Carlos Eduardo Santos 2005-09-25 19:02:18 UTC
I've run vmware-config.pl, but when I 'play' any vmachine, I get this error
message in a dialog box: Unable to change virtual machine power state: Failed to
connect to peer process.

It had worked in the previous version running the same kernel. I have not
rebooted the PC since then.

vmware-workstation 5.0.0.13124-r2
gentoo-sources 2.6.12-r10

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.launch vmware
2.'play' a virtual machine

Actual Results:
Error message in a dialog box: Unable to change virtual machine power state:
Failed to connect to peer process.

Expected Results:
A virtual machine should start.
