I went into /var/tmp/portage/kdegraphics-3.4.2-r2/work/kdegraphics-3.4.2/ksnapshot and commented out the include line for ksnapshotpreview.h from the file ksnapshotwidget.cpp, then ran make. This seemed to fix the problem. Presumably this is an include left over from a previous version which is no longer needed to compile this object.
