GNOME will not compile when it tries to merge apmd. libapm.la stops at line 41
with exit code 2.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gnome or emerge apmd
Actual Results:  
GNOME will not compile when it tries to merge apmd. libapm.la stops at line 41
with exit code 2.

Expected Results:  
It should have builded.

Can I see the actual results of the emerge attempt?  I am running Gnome 2.12
here with apmd and had no problems getting it emerged.

Also, the output of "emerge info" would be nice as well.

It would appear that your libtool is looking in the wrong dir for crt* - you
will need to re-emerge libtool to point to 3.3.6 of gcc which it appears you are
using now)

Run fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.5-20050130, if it does not still work, re-emerge
libtool.
