Description Max Loparev 2005-09-02 03:50:02 UTC
Nikolay can you imagine erlang without X with tk?
I don't need X on my server because you want it for workstation apps. Erlang
works great for server side apps like the ejabberd(the best open source XMPP
server implementaion at the present moment), and it doesn't need tk.
so right DEPEND is X? (dev-lang/tk)

this bug depends on http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97798
Comment 1 Max Loparev 2005-09-02 03:51:19 UTC

Comment 2 Ian P. Christian 2005-09-07 06:39:33 UTC
would be great to see this dependency on X removed

It looks to me like this has been fixed since the last time the bug was modified on 2005-09-07... sigh.

fauli@, please do something with this bug.

A typo prevents this from being detected for years. USE=tk is here and a dependency on X can be easily avoided. Closing.
