Adding myself to CC:
I Can be an Arch tester for this team if nessessary. Lares <lares.moreau@gmail.com>
We should use the #gentoo-x86 channel as a dev/AT meeting channel, I think its currently registered by solar.
Joshua Baergen, joshuabaergen@gentoo.org
I would love to help. nadams@ieee.org
I'd love to help as an AT - Shyam Mani, fox2mike@gentoo.org
Marcin Kryczek, aye@gentoo.pl
If I may be of assistance I'd love to.
I'd like to volunteer as an Arch Tester tony.davison2@ntlworld.com
Christian Heim, phreak@gentoo.org
I'm in so long as I'm the release coordinator... I'm hoping that we can end up promoting someone from this group into that role and bringing them into releng, as it is a bit much to wear so many hats regarding releng. Luckily, we're switching to a whole new format for releases soon, so having me leading the patch with x86 probably is the best for the short term. (not adding myself to CC since I'm already on the alias)
For those wanting to become ATs, please see: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/tests/index.xml If you have questions, need pointers, whatever, please let me know.
I am willing to be an x86 AT.

Count me in for testing if you like... I have, for testing purposes... Main Machine: CPU: 2x Intel Pentium III 1GHz RAM: 1GB PC133 SDRAM HDD: ~20GB available to Linux Laptop: CPU: 1x Intel Pentium 4 Mobile 1.7GHz RAM: 512MB HDD: ~30GB available to Linux some crash and burn boxes: * a Intel Celeron 300A w/ 128MB RAM * two 2x Pentium PRO 200MHz w/ 160 and 192MB RAM some real OLD crash and burn boxes: * 1x IBM/Cyrix 486DX4 100MHz, 64MB EDO RAM * 1x AMD Am5x86 133MHz, 64MB EDO RAM. Currently dual booting Windows 95 and SCO OpenServer 5.0.4 * 1x AMD Am386DX 33MHz, 20MB RAM, 3GB SCSI HDD. Running Win95 currently. * Digital Prioris XL 5000 Server; 2x Pentium 133MHz, 64MB RAM So, given constraints with my MIPS work, university stuff, and Real Life... I should be able to test packages.
Ryan Hill - dirtyepic.sk@gmail.com i'm in the middle of an oilfield miles from nowhere most weekdays but i'd be happy to spare some time on the weekends.
Glad to see we have lots of support here, lets move things along a bit. avenj is listed as being the x86 Lead prior to the formation of this team, he no longer wishes to continue in that role. Seemant said he is happy to continue as Assistant Operational Lead. wolf31o2 has claimed the Release Cordinator spot. So we need to fill the following positions: Operational Lead Strategic Lead Arch Tester Lead Any takers? I'll offer to be Operational Lead if we can't find anyone else to do it (you want this spot Seemant?).
Actually, I'd rather ian took the lead role on this arch, and I'd like to see ferringb take up some sort of lead as well (that would be my personal dream team choice, based on dev experience of the people on the cc list).
I can help out testing as well. Currently a user, done bit of debugging/ebuilding. P4 3.2Ghz w/HT, HP Pavilion laptop.
Mark Loeser, halcy0n@gentoo.org I have a whole slew of x86 boxes on which to do testing.
This is something I feel I could expand into instead of handling just a few packages. Should I just add myself to the alias, or is there something else that needs to be done as well?
Have someone add you to the alias (you probably can't do it yourself) and join #gentoo-x86 on freenode
Please add me primarily as a tester. I have two x86 systems (1 desktop & 1 server) and one ~x86 system (my main dev box)
Just to add my name here too, Petter R

Hello? I'm in the team too :) Got a bunch of x86 to test on. Even a SELinux box ;)
x86 box has fried its cpu. no money to trouble-shoot/replace. may be back later.
Well, the team has been established, so I don't think we need this bug anymore. If you want to be involved, stop by the IRC channel, #gentoo-x86.
