euse -i should look for descriptions in profiles/use.desc and
profiles/use.local.desc of all portage overlays defined by PORTDIR_OVERLAY
variable in /etc/make.conf

also i think euse should not update /etc/make.conf with flags
which are not defined in any of profiles/use.desc and profiles/use.local.desc
of main portage tree and all portage overlays

still valid for the bash version of euse available for amd64 and that is part of =app-portage/gentoolkit-0.2.3-r2.

euse only considers the main portage tree for both scopes (global and local)

I've implemented overlays in euse in my work on bug #259318.

I agree with this; although I have not implemented it yet. I'll implement this too.

This was addded with the updated euse from bug 259318. It cam be tested using gentoolkit-9999

Can you verify that this is implemented in gentoolkit-0.3.0?
