When fltk is defined, openexr 1.2.2-r1 fails to configure. 
 
checking for fltk-config... /usr/bin/fltk-config  
/usr/lib/portage/bin/ebuild.sh: line 402: 14816 Killed

Unfortunately, the configure log does not give much detail. It is included

1. Set fltk in your USE flags 
2. emerge openexr 
3.

Configure starts, then exits with above message.

this bug is the same as #100242

in fact configure is killed because of no more memory left !
