Experimenting with input file of MPEG4 movie file(DivX)about 1.2GB where the sound is slightly out of sync with the picture. avisync -i myfile.avi -o myfile.resync.avi -n 2 Gets most of the way through and then segfaults. I can reproduce this problem every time, but I haven't tried on another file - avisync should not segfault in any event. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: As above. Which transcode version?

You forgot to reopen the bug. If you forget to do so, chances are high that noone will ever notice again next time.

Same here with transcode-0.6.14-r2 AND transcode-1.0.2, this time with a XVID file. The problem doesn't apply only to gentoo, however. Here is a related thread on transcode-devel ml: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.video.transcode.devel/2693 Didn't try the latest snapshot from cvs.
If it's an upstream issue, please reopen when they'll have a patch.
