Description morgan wahl 2005-08-17 16:16:38 UTC
when I try to play a song titled: Δ𝑀𝑖⁻
Comment 1 morgan wahl 2005-08-17 16:16:38 UTC
when I try to play a song titled: Δ𝑀𝑖⁻¹ = −𝑎 Σ𝑛=1𝑁 𝐷𝑖 [𝑛] [ Σ𝑗∈𝐶[𝑖]
𝐹𝑖𝑗 [𝑛 − 1] + 𝐹ext𝑖 [𝑛⁻¹] ] rhythmbox always crashes. This song is a
vorbis stream in an ogg file. I can open the properties dialog fine

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. make a flac file with comment TITLE=Δ𝑀𝑖⁻¹ = −𝑎 Σ𝑛=1𝑁 𝐷𝑖 [𝑛] [
Σ𝑗∈𝐶[𝑖] 𝐹𝑖𝑗 [𝑛 − 1] + 𝐹ext𝑖 [𝑛⁻¹] ]
2. try to play in rhythmbox
3.

Actual Results:
rhythmbox crashes

Expected Results:
play the file

rhythmbox v0.8.8

just to clarify, the song title has the actual unicode characters referred to by
the &#---; things. I don't know why they got converted when I submitted the bug.

i've added the plaintext song title to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windowlicker#Disc_One_and_12.22_vinyl_release, if
some wants to cut & paste the actual unicode characters.
