This is an ebuild for the NetBeans Profiler milestone 8 release. See: http:// profiler.netbeans.org/docs/help/whatsnew-m8.html It works for me, but I don't know if it works anywhere else. Also there is no support for the remote profiling. I am using this ebuild on a system with Sun JDK 5.0 (atm ~x86 ~amd64 -*). Please review the ebuild... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 66130 [details] The NetBeans profiler milestone 8 ebuild This ebuild is not tested well, so be very careful and review it before merging it. It has to trick an (ugly) installer, so if you don't need the profiler in your portagetree use the installer!
We really don't want multiple bugs open on the same ebuilds, please continue in Bug 94190. Thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 94190 ***
This is a different ebuild and I requested that the reporter open a new one for it so reopening. Sorry about the trouble.
Netbeans 5.5 has been committed to tree. Since this is the current version of Netbeans. Work will not be done on older versions. There is already a pre-alpha 6.0 ebuild in java-migration-overlay that fordfrog has re-bumped from 5.0, and addressed the new deps and etc. Closing this bug.

You can find netbeans profiler 5.5 in overlay: http://overlays.gentoo.org/proj/java/browser/migrated-java-experimental-overlay/dev-util/netbeans-profiler
Closing bug since profiler is in overlay. Once it has been properly tested it will be moved to the official tree.
