Description Carlos Rendon 2005-08-13 11:28:01 UTC
When runnnig emerge the md5sum for the file zinf-2.2.5.tar.gz failed. I then
tried deletign /usr/portage/distfiles/zinf-2.2.5.tar.gz and found that when
portage redownloaded the file the problem persisted. I then went to
http://www.zinf.org/ and downloaded their version of the file and it's md5sum
was correct.

incorrect md5sum
01f8159c7680a0fbac6cd3e672d65e19 /usr/portage/distfiles/zinf-2.2.5.tar.gz

correct md5sum
140436516d46b3ef440dc1886810510d /usr/portage/distfiles/zinf-2.2.5.tar.gz

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge zinf
2.
3.

Actual Results:
the emerge failed because the md5 sum for zinf-2.2.5.tar.gz failed

Expected Results:
it failed appropriately, but perhaps a tampered version of this mentioned file
is in portage or whatever changes gentoo developers made were not reflected in
the md5sum in the digest files
