Description Chester Wisniewski 2005-08-08 19:09:39 UTC
When running emerge --sync; emerge --update --deep --newuse world

openssh fails to build with a ./configure error:

checking for passwd... /bin/passwd
checking for inline... inline
checking compiler and flags for sanity... no
configure: error: *** compiler cannot create working executables, check
config.log ***

!!! Please attach the config.log to your bug report:
!!! /var/tmp/portage/openssh-3.9_p1-r2/work/openssh-3.9p1/config.log

See attached config.log

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --sync on AMD64 platform (amd64 not ~amd64)
2. emerge --deep --newuse --update world
3. receive error during openssh build. Please see details and attached config.log

Actual Results:
See error in details

Expected Results:
It should build error-free :)
