Not everyone speaks french. Either translate or better do `echo
LC_MESSAGES=\"C\" >> /etc/env.d/02locale` to get english error messages.

Why not just LC_MESSAGE='C' firefox-bin? There is no need to change the system
wide setting just to get one output.

"Not everyone speaks french." sure, that's why i've write: "no such file/dir"
The translation of french is: "cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

It seems to be a toss up between flash or java. Unless there is a way to install
a 32 bit jre and a 64 bit jre on the same system?

Please see app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-java for a 32-bit JRE.

either way source is effected as of ff-1.5 yes it is a binary and I am sure we will have to wait for 1.5 to be released :(
