kde-base/kdelibs-3.4.2 fails to compile for me. This does not seem to be related to, or a dupe of, any of the following bugs: bug 86758 bug 98940 bug 100663 I will attach my portage log. The libxslt issue is the same as in your other bug. The next problem with your installation is that you have c++ libraries installed mixed compiled with gcc-3.3 and 3.4. That doesn't work, since the c++ abi differs. You have to re-emerge these libs when upgrading to gcc-3.4.
Oh okay, great, thanks for the tips. When you say "these libraries", what are they called by portage? This way I can straighten out the other issues you mentioned. Email directly if you'd like to keep this out of bugs. Thanks a lot!
`revdep-rebuild -X libstdc++.so.5` will do it. Just wonder why you run testing, when you can't get along with such issues yourself. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 100833 ***
