If you want this in portage, you should really attempt to write an ebuild for this.

Hmm, there is a visual studio.net project file, but monodevelop doesn't want to
import it. Does anyone know how to build a library from source? Or if I use the
.dll that comes with Math.Net, will that work?

No progress here for 1 year. Closing WONTFIX.

I won't write an ebuild because that software has not seen an update since 2004.
