This version of gcc runs a script, fixinc.sh (I think), that updates header
files to be ANSI C.  Um, I've no idea how to solve this problem!

need more info :)  This bug was reported a while ago, but kabau's busy so I'm
whittling through his bugs trying to get them to the next level.

Added 3.0.4 and the --disable-checks flag.
