![]() ~arm64 added (thanks, happy to add any more keywords if we're missing any ala ppc64 by the way) Ping x86. Re-adding arm64 for dev-util/kdevelop-php, required by Release Service 20.08.3 (kde-apps/umbrello-20.08.3). x86 done The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=73316cf8782a35c5c07adc5f81c9574f2468741f commit 73316cf8782a35c5c07adc5f81c9574f2468741f Author: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2020-11-08 15:22:24 +0000 Commit: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2020-11-08 15:22:43 +0000 kde-apps: Drop 20.08.2 remains Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/751337 Package-Manager: Portage-3.0.9, Repoman-3.0.2 Signed-off-by: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> .../kde-apps-meta/kde-apps-meta-20.08.2.ebuild | 26 -------- kde-apps/kdesdk-meta/kdesdk-meta-20.08.2-r1.ebuild | 31 ---------- kde-apps/umbrello/Manifest | 1 - kde-apps/umbrello/umbrello-20.08.2-r1.ebuild | 70 ---------------------- 4 files changed, 128 deletions(-) https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=9c3dbbd10d263f8b74f013f6720328c9b4f6a0b7 commit 9c3dbbd10d263f8b74f013f6720328c9b4f6a0b7 Author: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2020-11-08 15:12:24 +0000 Commit: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2020-11-08 15:22:42 +0000 kde-apps: Rollover ~arm64 keywords Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/751337 Package-Manager: Portage-3.0.9, Repoman-3.0.2 Signed-off-by: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> kde-apps/kde-apps-meta/kde-apps-meta-20.08.3.ebuild | 2 +- kde-apps/kdesdk-meta/kdesdk-meta-20.08.3.ebuild | 2 +- kde-apps/umbrello/umbrello-20.08.3.ebuild | 2 +- 3 files changed, 3 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=eb212ae3b45643acccfb46653008440aea2ac08f commit eb212ae3b45643acccfb46653008440aea2ac08f Author: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2020-11-08 14:58:10 +0000 Commit: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2020-11-08 15:22:42 +0000 profiles: arm64: Mask >=kde-apps/umbrello-20.08.3[php] Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/751337 Signed-off-by: Andreas Sturmlechner <asturm@gentoo.org> profiles/arch/arm64/package.use.mask | 4 ++++ 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+) I can't read your mind - so I readded the blocker (as explained in the other bug) because I could not build a dependency. Please let me know what you're thinking so we can talk things out. I'm no stranger to long bugzilla dependency chains myself, but I consider a build failure of a dependency of a dependency an invalid blocker. You can comment why you are unable to proceed at the time, but some other member of ~arm64 team may very well be able to do so. I don't know how long it will take Qt proj to fix it, so this being a tangential blocker to bug 753242 I prefer this bug not being held up by a build failure in an indirect dependency of kdevelop-php. It _is_ a dodgy blocker and I'd feel frustrated if someone added it to one of my bugs. On the other hand, we both know I'm the one doing the keywording, and practically speaking, that was the thing stopping me doing it. I'm confident you know by now that I don't make stuff in the way for no reason and I go out of my way to fix things just because they're broken, even if they're not "my job", so this was on my list to figure out anyway. :) I'm glad it turns out it's USE-conditional anyway so it can be masked, I just didn't realise that or I would have proposed it. I completely agree with the logic, I just wish you'd said rather than removing the blocker silently - I couldn't know that's what you were thinking. Thanks! |
