As of 5/17/15, the follow packages will need to be stable before 2.2.x can be marked: >=media-libs/libdvdread-4.9:0 - all supported arches >=media-libs/libdvdnav-4.9:0 - all supported arches >=x11-libs/cairo-1.13.1:0 - all supported arches media-libs/x265:0= - arm ppc ppc64 >=net-misc/freerdp-1.2.1 - arm >=media-video/libav-11:0= - arm >=media-libs/zvbi-0.2.28:0 - arm >=media-libs/opus-1.0.3:0 - arm >=media-video/ffmpeg-2.2:0= - arm >=kde-base/kdelibs-4:4 - arm I think arches are CCed in all needed bugs (and already done for amd64,ppc,ppc64,x86 that are the arches needed for this). Then, you could CC theme here too finally At this point the only outstanding items are: Masking "kde" USE flag on arm (bug 564136) Masking "x265" USE flag on ppc (bug 564138) (In reply to Nick Andrade from comment #3) > At this point the only outstanding items are: > Masking "kde" USE flag on arm (bug 564136) > Masking "x265" USE flag on ppc (bug 564138) x265 is now masked on vlc in arch/powerpc/ppc32/package.use.mask Arch teams please make stable media-video/vlc-2.2.1-r3 Target arches: amd64 x86 Cancel that sorry, confused with another package; Arch teams please make stable media-video/vlc-2.2.1-r3 Target arches: amd64 arm ppc ppc64 x86 media-video/vlc-2.2.1-r1 ! Stable for PPC64. amd64 stable x86 stable ppc stable Hi ARM team, is there anything that seems to be holding up VLC 2.2.1 from being marked stable in your arch? Have any problems come up in testing? I ask because VLC being marked stable there will allow me to remove 2.1.5-r1 from the tree which in turn solves several bugs (including security ones only present in the 2.1.x line). Thanks, Nick (In reply to Nick Andrade from comment #12) > Hi ARM team, is there anything that seems to be holding up VLC 2.2.1 from > being marked stable in your arch? And no, there is no problem testing it, just lack of time :) Hi Markus, Just wanted to check in and confirm no unreported problems have been found at this point. Thanks, Nick (In reply to Nick Andrade from comment #14) > Hi Markus, > > Just wanted to check in and confirm no unreported problems have been found > at this point. > > Thanks, > Nick Markus said feel free to remove arm. At this point security bugs are being blocked awaiting this stabilization on arm. Please decide what you would like to do. Chatted with maekke. Removing arm as they have not had time to test. Please follow up with a separate bug if they require it in the future. |
