Screenshot of shadow bug

Hi! I just installed gnome-3.14 on my laptop using the xf86-video-intel-2.21.15 driver, and I noticed that out of the box, window shadows are actually broken for any applications in gnome that draw their own window borders (You can see an example in the screenshot I've attached). I've done some research, and this seems to be a bug related to xf86-video-intel (but since it's only happening on GNOME, I thought that it would be proper to report this bug under GNOME). This bug has been fixed upstream here: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-intel/commit/?id=48a33fc379b17eed195875222ad773c911d9dff1
Of course, this is in a much newer version then the latest stable version in portage, I'm trying to see if the patch can be backported but it looks like it relies on a lot of other commits that aren't in 2.21.15 unfortunately.

Looks like fixed intel driver version should be stabilized soon enough

closing as the versions fixing that intel driver bug will need to be stabilized before 3.14 anyway (as we also need newer libXi too)
