with new libreoffice-bin 24.8.4-r1 i can't switch program to german translation. In older 24.2.7.2 there was a lang-pack: app-office/libreoffice-l10n-24.2.7.2 I think that also in newest V: 25.2.0-r1 there must be a link to a lang-pack Please relink a lang-pack to newer libreoffice-bin program to access german translations again, Thx I tried to ask this at chat: #gentoo and i was told to request a bug here
There is no 24.8.4 version of libreoffice-l10n in portage. Then, only the english translation are available. https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/app-office/libreoffice-l10n
Yes, that's right, but there is a: app-office/libreoffice-l10n 25.2.1.1 but there is no related libreoffice-bin pack only: app-office/libreoffice-bin 25.2.0-r1 i tried this libreoffice-bin-25.2.0-r1 but no German translation avail ! so it seems the i10n Lang-Pack must match the bin-Pack ?!
I plan on looking at it today.

Please confirm if 25.2.0-r3 works. If so, we can backport the changes to 24.x.

Both the lo-bin ebuilds inherit the xdg eclass, so I'm not sure that happens. I think it merits a new bug. Thanks for confirming.

Thanks. Also, sorry, I meant to say "how that happens", not doubt that it does :)
