Created attachment 165666 [details] media-sound/rivendell-1.0.1.ebuild I removed a section that disabled support for third party hardware drivers because configure will disable or enable support if it detects their presence.
There is a newer and better ebuild in the sunrise overlay. There are however still issues with transcoding due to a dependency of an out of tree build of sox, but a fix should be forthcoming. http://overlays.gentoo.org/svn/proj/sunrise/sunrise/media-radio/rivendell/
Sox compatibility problems fixed, but audio might be a little wonky until upstream makes some changes.
This is now being actively maintained in the proaudio overlay. I put it there and I honestly think its too specialized for the main tree. So if someone could close this that would be cool.
