If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest version from Git. If the latest version fails, report the problem to the ffmpeg-user@ffmpeg.org mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.libera.chat. Include the log file "ffbuild/config.log" produced by configure as this will help solve the problem. * ERROR: media-video/ffmpeg-chromium-133::gentoo failed (configure phase): * (no error message) * ------------------------------------------------------------------- This is an unstable amd64 chroot image at a tinderbox (==build bot) name: 23.0_desktop_gnome-20241117-232002 The attached etc.portage.tar.xz has all details. ------------------------------------------------------------------- gcc-config -l: [1] x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-14 * clang version 19.1.4 llvm-config: 19.1.4 Python 3.12.7 go version go1.23.3 linux/amd64 Available Ruby profiles: [1] ruby32 (with Rubygems) [2] ruby33 (with Rubygems) * Available Rust versions: [1] rust-bin-1.81.0 [2] rust-bin-1.82.0 [3] rust-1.82.0 * The following VMs are available for generation-2: 1) Eclipse Temurin JDK 11.0.25_p9 [openjdk-bin-11] 2) Eclipse Temurin JDK 17.0.13_p11 [openjdk-bin-17] *) Eclipse Temurin JDK 21.0.5_p11 [openjdk-bin-21] 4) Eclipse Temurin JDK 8.432_p06 [openjdk-bin-8] Available Java Virtual Machines: [1] openjdk-bin-8 [2] openjdk-bin-11 [3] openjdk-bin-17 [4] openjdk-bin-21 system-vm HEAD of ::gentoo commit c383e9f51930d80dc47a796c049e22bc9e225d93 Author: Repository mirror & CI <repomirrorci@gentoo.org> Date: Wed Nov 20 17:48:29 2024 +0000 2024-11-20 17:48:29 UTC emerge -qpvO =media-video/ffmpeg-chromium-133 [ebuild N ] media-video/ffmpeg-chromium-133 USE="gpl threads vulkan -cpudetection -debug -nvenc -vaapi -vdpau" CPU_FLAGS_X86="aes avx avx2 fma3 mmx mmxext sse sse2 sse3 sse4_1 sse4_2 ssse3 -3dnow -3dnowext -fma4 -xop"

This is because upstream FFmpeg dropped yasm support in October. I'll fix this tomorrow.
