Azureus provides a web interface suitable for headless setups, however current ebuilds do not obey USE="-X" and install just the web and console interfaces.
Would anyone like to work on this? Its a great feature...

Do you have any
Plaah. Sorry about the stub comment. Do you have any suggestion on how to implement this? This seems to be a plugin: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/plugin_details.php?plugin=azhtmlwebui Of course we could make ebuilds for azureus plugins. Feel free to come up with working code to speedup things.
Hit the wrong radio button. Not my day today.
Just to let you know that 2.3.0.6-r1 can now be started in console mode. Support for the webplugin is not there yet.
I stumbled upon this trying to have a headless azureus (the html web ui works nicely but you the latest version on the azureus website does not work under gentoo at the moment) http://azureus.sourceforge.net/index_CVS.php I looked at how to use this with no success for the moment. The logical method appears to be editing the ~/.Azureus/gentoo.config but this variable is not used by the current /usr/bin/azureus executable. I haven't managed to get this to run manually. Any ideas?
