Starting with version 24.2 (a7ef81431a9d1aaa38bd9a77b1edc26810ed1a21), the package doesn't install the launcher script idea.sh with the executable bit set. As a consequence, it's not possible to start the program using the wrapper in /usr/bin. (I noticed that unlike the aforementioned wrapper, the desktop file executes the native binary. Maybe this should be standardized.)
