app-laptop/tiny-dfr-0.3.1 was released with support for the touchbar on x86 (Intel, T2) MacBooks. The init.d script needs to be updated in order to recognize the touchbar, which is connected via USB on x86 MacBooks. $ ls -l /dev/input/by-id/ lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 2. Aug 13:26 usb-Apple_Inc._Touch_Bar_Display_0000000000000000-event-if00 -> ../event10 The package can be keyworded ~amd64 with that update.
I have sent a PR to update it to 0.3.1, (https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/37934) however i am not comfortable keywording it amd64 myself, as i do not have any t2 hardware to test it on.
