Version 3.19 build 20 of sci-mathematics/gimps is available for download (~x86 and ~amd64 only, as it's a binary release). From mersenneforum.org (https://www.mersenneforum.org/showpost.php?p=658516&postcount=952): * Better handling of Stage2ExtraThreads and auto-adjust in calculating ECM optimal B2. * Torture test now defaults to a max of 90% of physical RAM. * ECM stage 1 and stage 2 memory is now allocated in one or a few big chunks. My Windows laptop was taking 6 minutes(!) to free 110,000 gwnums. This is considered stable by upstream, I will request stabilization ASAP. Github PR will follow soon.
