You cannot buy the full version of the Linux port any more, so having the demo seems pointless. The license also forbids redistribution, and we do have RESTRICT="bindist", but we are fetching it from FreeBSD, who probably aren't allowed to redistribute it either.

This is sad to see :'( Actually bought the full version back when that was possible, it came in a fancy box with a CD and installs a bunch of stuff directly in $HOME, but it was a unique play style. Sadly now it segfaults with ''' majesty 1.1.03, built for i386 Segmentation Fault: "My service ends....." ''' The binary installed by this ebuild stalls rather than segfaulting, seems to be struggling to talk to X running inside wayland. It was really hopeful that brief spell where organizations like Linux Game Publishing were trying to bring games to linux without being locked into some kind of virtual launcher like steam. Oh well.
Yeah, I feel you. I bought Sacred Gold from LGP back in the day.
