Hi, the recent change to btrfs-progs: sys-fs/btrfs-progs: drop python support This is not used by anything in the gentoo repo. If somebody wants this, please implement it as a separate package. Signed-off-by: Mike Gilbert <floppym@gentoo.org> https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/sys-fs/btrfs-progs?id=4d98c3db8124ddc002b4707c2998c9da646affd6 Breaks my, and I guess anyone else who uses them, python scripts using btrfsutil. Could this please be reversed so that the python library is built again? If not, please let me know before the change hits stable so I can figure something out.
No, I'm not going to reverse it. We can look into packaging it separately, however.
