Description antonello 2024-05-17 12:13:45 UTC
It does not install the library/does not compile it.
I think it currently compiles with meson/ninja-build

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge net-libs/libupnpp

Actual Results:
emerge -1 net-libs/libupnpp

Yeah, it installs nothing at all right now (just docs from einstalldocs).

stasibear, please make sure to use e.g. `pkgdiff-mg` (possibly with -b) on bumps and also iwdevtools which helps make image changes clear.

I'll mask the bad version.

I don't know if this is the right approach... but the library installs it...

in fact the eclass can do it alone in this case, so this could be it:

Thanks, everyone. I've pushed your change in an -r1, antonello. Nowhere did upstream document or announce the new build system, and upmpdcli worked fine so I didn't notice.

Thanks for the fix.

It is actually documented here:

https://www.lesbonscomptes.com/upmpdcli/pages/releases.html

"2024-04-03 Switching the build tools from GNU autotools to Meson.
libnpupnp, libupnpp and upmpdcli now use Meson/Ninja for configuring and building, the GNU autotools files are gone (or going). The release numbers are 6.1.2, 0.26.4 and 1.8.10"
