Normally, I would not file bugs only to advise of new releases. However, the following bug is rectified by 1.20.2. https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-ed/2024-04/msg00000.html Since none of the versions carried by gentoo adhere to the specification, I would recommend putting this new release on a fast track to stable and dropping the older releases at your earliest convenience.
