Sorry, I was aware of the zero day request policy. I regularly request version bumps of R and typically wait, but given https://bugs.gentoo.org/930936 the security vulnerability and that I was going away for a few days broke the rule. Will respect it in future.
No worries, but to be clear, this rule does not apply for security vulnerabilities. I will edit the page to make that clear.
The PR looks like its passed the QA checks (albeit with some legacy/existing problems) and is awaiting approval.
