ci has reproduced this issue with version 4.2.0_p20240424 - Updating summary.
The only unusual thing here is gcc-14 ...
Can't reproduce with USE=-debug With USE=debug it installs dmalloc and fails So, this is dmalloc bug and duplicate of 946814 and friends
