Hey, mpv-0.38.0 makes gui-apps/mpvpaper spawn a new window rather than using the background. But when running mpvpaper with old mpv and then starting mpvpaper with new mpv it kills the "old" mpvpaper.

I don't know that software and that should probably be looked at in mpvpaper itself before mpv. mpv changes at times and software using it may need adjustments. If this is a bug in mpv rather than an intentional change, please report it upstream and then I could backport whatever is needed in Gentoo. Given mpvpaper exists in GURU, I'll re-assign it there for now.
