This package does not support Python 3.12. Please test it with Python 3.12 as a matter of urgency as the default will change in early June, as per message on gentoo-dev: https://www.mail-archive.com/gentoo-dev@lists.gentoo.org/msg99104.html. Please check the information provided in the tracker. Ask in #gentoo-python on IRC if need any help.
In fact i would love to version bump this after the the open PR on the PEP stuff gets looked at by someone. https://bugs.gentoo.org/910043 https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/35778 After that would come a version bump with python 3.12 supported. I might just throw a commit for that new version in that same PR and add a Closes tag for this bug. But i wanted to do one thing at a time and am waiting for feedback.
