=kde-apps/akonadi-search-24.02.0, for KDE 6, won't build without dev-libs/ktextaddons-1.5.3, due to a missing KF6TextUtilsConfig.cmake file. I've ran into this when emerging/testing KDE 6; without the explicit dependency, Portage tried to emerge ktextaddons AFTER akonadi-search; I suspect the same is valid for akonadi-contacts ( #924817 )
It is the same issue as for akonadi-contacts, I can now confirm.
