Package `dev-libs/libportal` is missing the USE-flag `vala` which is required for Shotwell. At least when you install the package `media-gx/shotwell` with the USE-flag `opencv`.

And by missing, I really menat that it needs to be enabled for things to work.

vala USE is handled in 0.7.1-r1
