Howdy. I've got a new Canon MAXIFY GX2020 printer that apparently has a CUPS-compatible driver in the latest version of this package. https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/maxify-gx2020-wireless-megatank-home-and-office-all-in-one-printer Version 6.70a is the latest as of this writing, while Portage has 6.60. Thanks! :)
Correct URL: https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/megatank-maxify-gx2020-wireless-home-office-all-in-one-printer While this URL indicates only the MAXIFY GX2020 model drivers, the source file listed for "Linux" "64Bit" supports many Canon printers. Thanks.
