This version is a dud. We had to force USE=gui in the profiles to get it to build. It's still a problem in the latest release... that is now adding new problems because the author doesn't believe in undefined behavior.

There is now a 1.9.0-73 that I have not checked.

I just tried it before responding. The build is still broken without USE=gui, and there's a new test failure that I bet is due to accessing the (N+1)st element of an N-element std::vector.

I don't plan to stabilize another version until the build is fixed (https://bugs.gentoo.org/916718).
