Created attachment 894309 [details, diff] Patch to ignore the error I can confirm this happens on my system too. Patching configure.ac to simply ignore the error allows it to compile, but that's probably not the correct solution, but at least it'll allow you to compile it.
By the way, this is almost certainly due to gcc 14 treating many warnings as errors by default now.
