Hi Arsen, I'm a bit confused. I made some testing with different machines in different locations. when i use the values set in make.conf for GENTOO_MIRRORS="" which been set via mirrorselect it does not work. Some time ago i set up my own mirror (gentoo.blub.fish). when i use my own it works. i sync directly from rsync://masterdistfiles.gentoo.org/gentoo i can reproduce this with virtual machines in my datacenter and also with machines at home. that seems somehow weird to me.
seems that codeberg switched gzip implementations.. ~$ diff <(<dls/foot-1.16.2.tar.gz gzip -d) <(</var/cache/distfiles/foot-1.16.2.tar.gz gzip -d) ~$ diff <(<dls/foot-1.16.2.tar.gz cat) <(</var/cache/distfiles/foot-1.16.2.tar.gz cat) Binary files /dev/fd/63 and /dev/fd/62 differ
