This should go away with the prefix-portage port to meson which is done already I think. This build is from the 13th so may not have picked up all the recent changes. Can you try the latest script please? ``` /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 -o root -g root -t /mnt/d/a/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix/tmp/etc ./dispatch-conf.conf ./etc-update.conf ( cd /mnt/d/a/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix/tmp/etc && cp -pR /mnt/d/a/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix/tmp/usr/share/portage/config/make.globals ) cp: missing destination file operand after '/mnt/d/a/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix/tmp/usr/share/portage/config/make.globals' Try 'cp --help' for more information. make[1]: *** [Makefile:28: install] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/mnt/d/a/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix-tester/gentoo-prefix/var/tmp/portage-3.0.49/prefix-portage-3.0.49/cnf' make: *** [Makefile:387: install-recursive] Error 1 ```
stage1 doesn't use meson, but autotools IIRC

Perhaps this fixes the stage1 portage install problem reported on WSL.
