Hi, Not sure if it's been 30 days, but 3.1.0 is plainly broken against newer kernels, and 3.2.0 has been shown to compile at least. Requesting immediate stable of the two 3.2.0 ebuilds. Update to linux-mod-r1 to follow later and we'll stable that separately. Reproducible: Always
I'm running into bug 906179 it seems. cc1: some warnings being treated as errors cc1: some warnings being treated as errors /var/tmp/portage/net-misc/dahdi-3.1.0-r3/work/dahdi-linux-3.1.0/drivers/dahdi/xpp/xpp_usb.c:1112:55: error: implicit declaration of function 'PDE_DATA'; did you mean 'NODE_DATA'? [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration[https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Warning-Options.html#index-Wimplicit-function-declaration]] 1112 | return single_open(file, xusb_read_proc_show, PDE_DATA(inode)); | ^~~~~~~~ | NODE_DATA etc.
Damn. This environment nowadays is just too fast changing. Going to need a few days, let's hold off on this one then. Do we have a way of determining how many DAHDI users we still have out there, ideally short of masking net-misc/dahdi{,-tools}? I've got one host and frankly, at this stage I'm considering spending the money to rather get a SIP2PRI gateway just to get rid of this mess.
Unable to check for sanity: > package masked: net-misc/dahdi-tools-3.2.0
Last-rited, please see bug #914477.

Killing this since we cannot stable 3.2.0.
