I think this is a gitlab issue where it regenerates the tarball (changing the checksum). It doesn't look like the release was retagged. I'm going to regenerate the manifest right now but leave the bug open because it will break at some point. I'll ask upstream to have their gitlab generate releases because I can see void and arch have different checksums for the same file: Arch: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/pan/-/blob/main/PKGBUILD Void: https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/blob/master/srcpkgs/pan/template (they both use sha256sum)
The bug has been referenced in the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/proj/guru.git/commit/?id=b47b5ba82727a77b2c777b66be62796799fbcf9a commit b47b5ba82727a77b2c777b66be62796799fbcf9a Author: Joe Kappus <joe@wt.gd> AuthorDate: 2023-05-28 07:35:26 +0000 Commit: Joe Kappus <joe@wt.gd> CommitDate: 2023-05-28 07:35:26 +0000 net-nntp/pan: update Manifest Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/907252 Signed-off-by: Joe Kappus <joe@wt.gd> net-nntp/pan/Manifest | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-)
This hasn't broken again and upstream is aware of how the issue might happen in the future.
