Hey, upstream of net-libs/libsignal-protocol-c is archived: https://github.com/signalapp/libsignal-protocol-c "This repository has been archived by the owner on Feb 13, 2022. It is now read-only. " Seems like there's an active fork available: https://github.com/dino/libomemo-c/ which is packaged as net-libs/libomemo-c. I wonder if the fork is compatible with rdeps of libsignal-protocol-c, then we could replace the dependency and remove archived and "dead" libsignal-protocol-c? Any comments?
I think the Dino project hasn't yet made a release that uses this fork. I do see that the original project seems to have been removed as a git submodule here now: https://github.com/dino/dino/tree/master/plugins/signal-protocol I suspect that the next Dino release might allow Dino to stop being an rdep.
