Created attachment 861805 [details] build log Emerging dev-lua/luaposix-36.1 fails in download phase on incorrect file size. Downloaded file truly has different size than it's written in Manifest file. I've tried to download file on several systems with several different internet connections, on all of them I got same file but not matching Manifest size/hash. It seems that Manifest is wrong or the file was changed on github. In the meanwhile while looking to the logs I had specified mirror which wasn't working... with working mirror it merge ok but still is something pretty weird when mirror has different file than github/upstream.

Well, this file was initially pulled from Gihub. Seems more, that it changed silently on GH. Thanks for the report, updated manifest.

It was bumped on Jan 31, from Jan 30 to Feb 2 (or so) github had bumped git to a version that used its internal gzip compression by default (thus changing all automated archives), and then it reverted back to normal gzip because of the fallout. Meaning if manifested in that timeframe, you get a broken manifest after the revert :) Not that it matters much with our mirrors.
